Obituary of Rachael Leah Workman

Rachael Leah Workman (King) was born January 16, 1977, in Portsmouth, Virginia.  She passed away peacefully with her husband Ryan Ewing and daughter Liz Workman at her side on August 29, 2024, in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada after a valiant battle with illness. Rachael loved the outdoors, especially the mountains and Pacific Ocean. She loved art, music, was an amazing artist and had a lust for all things to do with nature. She had a massive heart that was filled with love for her family and friends.

 

Rachael is survived by her husband Ryan, her daughter Liz, sisters Deedee (Ryan), Mariah, Tana and brothers Jack (Bodhi), Paul, Stan, step-dad Mike, mom Helen, grandparents Jack and Pauline and numerous nieces and nephews.

 

The family wishes to express heart felt gratitude to the ICU team at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre for going above and beyond trying to save her life.

 

A celebration of life will be held at Liberty Park in Salt Lake City, Utah in the southeast corner at 4 p.m. on October 9, 2024. This is open to anyone so come celebrate an amazing wife, amazing mother, amazing daughter, amazing sister, amazing aunt, amazing friend, amazing co-worker and amazing human.
