On behalf of Mom, Jean, myself and the rest of our family, I would like thank you for your empathy, support and guidance throughout the past two weeks. You have exceeded our expectations. Our interactions with you, Bruce, have always been with great spirit, with the positive goal of giving Bill a respectful exit to this life. We’ve had a few laughs at almost everyone’s expense, but all in good fun. When we had questions, they got answered promptly. When we had issues, you helped us resolve them. And, you let our Mom talk about Bill, let her grieve, with empathy. The day of the funeral you had a great staff helping you out. The ushers had me quietly chuckling numerous times, and were so caring. A big thank-you to them. The serving ladies were on top of everything. My wife, Jan, enjoyed the few minutes she spent with them in the kitchen helping out. She said they had a very nice visit. It is very evident that all those helping you are family and friends that do an exceptional job of working together. Ensure you give them all our thanks. We’ve had so many comments from family and friends about the beautiful service and how much of a celebration of Bills life that it was. Thank you for that. Our service was as close to being perfect as it could have been and was very memorable.

It was very private and the buffet was very good. The scattering at the cemetery was very moving, and I believe exactly what Doug would have wanted. I’m glad I took your advice. It’s always difficult to say goodbye, but you helped us every step of the way. We’re so glad we found you, Bruce, and we wish you all the best.

Words cannot express what a blessing you have been to our family. Jo-Anne was in a much better place after finding you. You eased her mind about the financial burden of a funeral and she was able to concentrate on mourning her husband. You treated our family wonderfully, compassionately and honestly, and we could feel that from the first time you met with us. I cannot thank you enough personally for what you have done. You will now be our go-to guy for every funeral we have in our family (nothing too soon, I hope!) and we will recommend you to everyone we know.
