Obituary of Bruce Eugene Perrin
Bruce's gentle heart stopped beating, and in his family's loving care he ascended to the heavens on February 16, 2024. We know Mom and Dad were waiting in the "wings”.
Bruce was Born in Flin Flon Manitoba in 1951 adorned with beautiful white-blond curls and grey-green eyes that smiled. Bruce was a fun-loving character with an infectious laugh.
Bruce met the love of his life, Kris Cumpstone, when he was 19 years old. They married and were blessed with two children, Maliena and Randy, and then his adored grand and great grandchildren.
Bruce was happiest outdoors, no doubt a trait he inherited from our parents. He lived for fun weekends spent in the Boundary Service Camp area where he camped, rode quads, hunted and fished for trout while competing with black bear in the Clearwater River.
Bruce and Kris were proud to share their striking prize winning 1972 Black Chevy Chevelle at car shows across Alberta. The addition of a Viper Red striping package made it Perfect! Somehow it magically morphed into a red Cobalt ski boat for the grand children to enjoy.
Bruce started his career at a young age in the oil field industry striving to obtain his class one license, working his way up from a Rough Neck on the Service Rigs, "Perrin Bros. Swamping", Picker Operator eventually progressing to a Crown Truck driver. Bruce drove thousands of kilometers on oil field roads. He prided himself in a job well done!
He treasured his friendships and was always happy to reminisce about the "good ole days" or solving many of the world's issues.
Bruce is tenderly remembered by his family wife Kris, daughter Maliena (Noah) and son Randy-Bruce (Trin) Kris' family Linda (Gus), Mary Lou, and Ron.
Bruce lives on in the hearts he left behind and in his grand children's eyes. Grand children Leigha, Ashley, Brittany, Marissa, Kalli, and Tyler. Great grand children Raymond, Kayden, Easton, Athena, Charlie, and Connor.
Held close in our heart's by his "Perrin family," Jan (Paul), Murray (Shelley), Twyla (Bill), Rick (Adrian) we will all miss our courageous brother Bruce.
He was predeceased by his loving parents, Marj and Art Perrin, brother Terry and niece Danielle.

A service to celebrate Bruce’s life will be held on April 20, 2024, at the Ridgewood Hall, 37160 Range Rd 10, Red Deer County. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, Heart and Stroke Foundation, or to Diabetes Canada.
