Obituary of Maxine Lorraine Brooks
Maxine Lorraine Brooks went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 12, 2024, at the age of 90+ years. She is survived by her children, Charlotte (Laurie) Kennedy, Lorrie (Dale) Chick, Dianne (Kim) Weinkauf, Allyn (Nicole) Brooks, daughter-in-law Lori (Tim) Brooks and 16 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Kenneth in 2010, a daughter Gail in 1973, a son Steven in 2006 and a son Timothy in 2023. A celebration of life will be held on February 23, 2024 at Living Stones church in Red Deer. Maxine was laid to rest in the Botha cemetery beside her beloved husband.
Donations can be made in memory of Maxine to the Red Deer Street Ministry. Mom loved the Street Ministry because of the difference it was making in the downtown core of Red Deer, donations to the street can be made through their website at www.streetchurchreddeer.ca
Or donations can be made in her memory to the Red Deer Hospice Society. Mom was the recipient of excellent care there in her last days. Envelopes for donations will be available during the service, at the back of the Sanctuary where the registry is signed.
