Obituary of Carole Dianne Hoffman
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Carole Dianne Hoffman on Saturday, December 30, 2023.
Carole was born in Islay and spent her teenage years in Thorsby. Carole and her husband Fred, lived in Rimbey for 55 wonderful years before relocating to Red Deer. Carole loved to bake, play cards, curl in bonspiels, and dance. She enjoyed camping at Gull Lake and Fairmont and holidaying in Las Vegas and Hawaii. Carole also loved spending time with her family and friends.
Carole will be lovingly remembered by her three children, Garry (Laureen), Duane (Wendy), and Laurie (Troy); four grandchildren, Brandon (Madison), Adam (Taryn), Ben, and Emma (Zack); her two great grandchildren, Gwendolyn and Madelyn and by her twin sister and soulmate, Cherrill Farwell.
Carole was predeceased by her beloved husband, Fred; sister, Yvonne; sister-in-law, Frieda; and her brothers-in-law, Gordon, Gerald, and Budd.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at Villa Marie for the love and care given to Carole over the past 6 ½ years, and to “Dr. Derek” Rautenbach, for his exceptional kindness and support over the past fifteen years.
A private family interment of both Fred and Carole’s ashes will take place in the Alto Reste Cemetery, Red Deer AB at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you pay it forward and do something kind for someone.
