Obituary of Steven Douglas Parrott
Mr. Steven Parrott of Red Deer passed away at Home on October 26, 2023, at the age of 45 years.
Steven was born May 10th, 1978, in Red Deer Alberta. He was raised in both Red Deer, Edmonton, and Ontario. After leaving high school, Steve went to work for his father’s Plumbing & Sewer company. During this time, he went to SAIT, receiving his sheet metal ticket, and worked in the heating/sheet metal division of the company. He would eventually become supervisor of the Sewer and Drain division, until it was shut down. He then ventured out and started his own company.
Steven also pursued post-secondary school in Red Deer and Calgary. Where he practiced in both business and management. Seeing the value that school brought into his life, if he could pursue further, he most definitely would.
After venturing out and starting his own company, Steven encountered some health issues. This is when he transitioned into car sales. Steven had been working in various car dealerships and built a strong foundation within the car community. He had a love for adventure and was always seeking that next thrill. Steven also had a love for animals, superhero’s, Star Trek, and Star Wars. He had a massive heart to everyone that came into his life. Always welcomed everyone with big open arms and an open heart and mind.
Steven will be lovingly remembered by his spouse, Sonja Nakken; daughter, Sydney Moore (Jaxson Hamilton); grandson, Dante Moore; stepsons, Cody Nakken, Xander (Reilly Dixon) Fouillard, Quinten (Laura Thompson) Fouillard; stepdaughter, Jenna Nakken; parents; Peggy Jackson, Lyle Parrott and his wife Cathy Parrott; brother, Russell Parrott (Carrie); stepsisters, Tracy Mattice, Karina Canfield; niece, Emilee Mattice; nephews, Tiegan Mattice and Nathan Parrott; his paternal grandmother, as well as, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Steven was predeceased by his maternal grandparents and paternal grandfather.
