Obituary of Shawn Anthony Galley

Shawn Anthony Galley of Red Deer AB passed away at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre in Calgary AB on April 19, 2023 at the age of 43 years. Shawn was born on May 28, 1979 in Red Deer AB and raised in Red Deer for the majority of his life. He got his grade 12 at Hunting Hills High School. Shawn found his true love, Terina Pare, in Red Deer and lived together for 18 years. Shawn brought Terina into the family getting married on February 2, 2023.

Shawn loved technology, fixing electronics, gardening, being outdoors, swimming, campfires and most of all spending lots of time with family and friends. He enjoyed trips to Callaway Park, the West Edmonton Mall or trips together with family into BC. Those were special times they spent together.

Shawn was well loved by all who he came into contact with. We all lived, loved and will always remember him and Shawn will never be forgotten.

Shawn is survived by his wife Terina; two children Owen and Alayna; brother Glen Galley; mother Iris Seidman; father Bryan Galley as well as numerous other family members and many friends.

A Celebration of Shawn’s life will take place at the Pioneer Lodge, 4324 – 46 A Avenue, Red Deer AB on June 10, 2023 at 12:00 noon.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to help Terina with memorial costs and mortgage payments may be made directly to Terina Galley in person or at the memorial service.
