Obituary of Bonnie Louise Cutforth
Bonnie Louise Cutforth of Springbrook, Alberta, passed away at the Red Deer Hospice in Red Deer, Alberta on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at the age of 63 years.
Bonnie was born on August 14, 1959 in Calgary and was raised there most of her life. She worked for her grandpa as a receptionist at Jager Homes for ten years. She got married in 1987 for ten years, during which time she was blessed with the birth of her two daughters, Kara Cote born on June 2, 1989 and Tyla Trottier born on May 22, 1992. Bonnie moved to Springbrook in 2002 to her forever home. She then went back to school for bookkeeping and worked for a few companies until she retired.
She was blessed with three grandchildren who were the light of her life. Ava was born in 2007, Adam was born in 2011 and Kendra was born in 2018. Bonnie loved horses, playing guitar, hanging out with friends, all of her fur babies and playing pool in tournaments. Her favorite things to do were to travel and go to the beach to listen to the waves and put her feet in the sand. Bonnie was a loving Christian. Her love for the bible was evident in her daily life and kept her positive after her diagnosis in 2019. May she rest in peace and may her memory live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
Bonnie will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters Kara (Josh) and Tyla (Trevor); three grandchildren Ava, Adam and Kendra; mother Joyce; sister Melody (Bryan) as well as numerous extended family members and friends. Bonnie was predeceased by her grandma Bertha and grandpa Bill.
A service to celebrate Bonnie’s life will be held at the Living Stones Church, 2020 – 40th Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta on Monday, March 13, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so between 10:15 am and 10:45 am prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the Red Deer Hospice Society, 99 – Arnot Avenue, Red Deer AB T4R 3S6.
