Obituary of Liam Joseph Scheyen

Our beloved son Liam Joseph Scheyen of Red Deer AB, passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on February 16, 2023 at the age of 23 years. Liam was born in Calgary AB, on January 12, 2000 and was raised in Red Deer, AB.  As a child, Liam enjoyed Pond Hockey, Soccer and Lacrosse as well as spending time with his cousins and grandparents. He always enjoyed quading and dirt biking while camping out West.

Liam was a kind soul who would help anyone and will be greatly missed by his parents Dave and Sandy Scheyen; grandparents Marg and Nick Scheyen, and Dick and Bonnie Robertson; as well as all of his aunts, uncles, cousins, numerous friends including Hanna and especially by his cat Gwen whom he loved very much. 

A memorial service to celebrate Liam’s life will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the Sunnybrook United Church, 12 – Stanton Street, Red Deer AB at 2:00 p.m.
