Obituary of Laurence Bernard Joseph Lamoureux

Laurence Lamoureux of Red Deer, passed away at the Peter Lougheed Hospital in Calgary AB  on July 28, 2022 at the age of 69 years. Laurence was lovingly surrounded by his four children Camille, Collin, Corey, and Collette; daughter-in-law Andrea, and granddaughter Renee.

Laurence had a larger-than-life personality and would do anything he could to help those whom he cared for. Laurence had great passion for music, his career as a chef, his faith, but mostly, his 48 year marriage to his beloved wife Beryl, who passed away in July of 2019.

Laurence touched many lives and those who knew him will miss his humor, witty banter, and his ability to name almost any song from the 50-70’s genre.

He will be deeply missed and will forever be in our hearts.

Laurence will be lovingly remembered by his three sons, Camille (Caycee Joplin) Lamoureux, Collin Lamoureux, and Corey (Andrea) Lamoureux; his daughter Collette (Cody) Gowalko; and his three granddaughters Renee Lamoureux, Rayna Gowalko, and Lacey Gowalko as well as a large extended family and numerous friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Beryl. A memorial service is to be held at a later date.
