Mr. Howard Byron Northey of Red Deer passed away peacefully in his sleep at Victoria Park Manor, Red Deer AB, on Friday, January 24, 2020 at the age of 96 years. Howard will be lovingly remembered and missed by sons Randy (Arlene) Northey and Bob (Sandra) Northey; and daughters Cheryl (Irvin) Bay, Lori (Bob) Burgett and Karen (Sean) Irwin. Also to cherish Howard’s memory are 13 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and numerous family members and friends. Howard was predeceased by his wife of 67 years, Betty; brother Allan Northey; and sisters Florence Wright, Rudy Afanisiff and Disa Hale. A Memorial Service to celebrate Howard’s life will be held in the Chapel of CrossRoads Church, (SW corner of 32 St and highway 2), 38105 Range Road 275, Red Deer County, AB on Friday, January 31, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. For those wishing to attend, please enter the church by the north east “Chapel” doors.
