Obituary of Christopher Robin Harder
Christopher “Chris” Robin Harder of Red Deer AB passed away on May 11, 2022, at the age of 44 years. Chris was born Christopher Robin Chicoyne on February 17, 1978 in Edmonton AB.
Chris was a happy adventurous child who always liked to climb. He had no fear of heights and found anything with movement fascinating. Although he struggled with leaning disabilities throughout school, he was proud to have obtained his Journeyman Lineman Certification. Chris loved music and “DJd” a number of house parties. He was a hard worker, a great cook, a generous friend and had a quick, dry wit. Chris will be missed by all who knew him.
Chris is survived by his mother Marilee “Lee” Nielsen; his beloved son Aivian Christopher Harder, Aivian’s mother Alica, stepbrother Jason (Samantha) Harder as well as numerous other family members and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Robin Jeffrey Chicoyne and by his stepbrother Richard Harder.
A celebration of life will be held in the Chapel of the CrossRoads Church, (SW corner of 32 St and highway 2), 38105 Range Road 275, Red Deer County, AB on Friday, May 20, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. For those wishing to attend, please enter by the northeast chapel doors.
