I had the immense privilege of knowing Connie throughout my childhood at my church, and later during my career as a veterinary nurse working with RDPC. Connie had such a peaceful, joyful, compassionate presence around her that was truly inspiring. As a Sunday school teacher and VBS leader, she made every experience fun, and at church Christmas pageants blessed us with her beautiful singing voice. I remember being enthralled by her Sunday school lessons as she brought Bible stories to life for us. Later as an adult working at a vet clinic I remember being happy to learn she ran RDPC and to be reconnected with her. She treated each client and pet with the utmost care, delicacy and consideration. Connie truly brought an unmatched joy into the lives of those around her. She is gone far too soon and her absence will be deeply felt. My thoughts go to Gerry and the family.

I had the privilege of knowing Connie for a number of years, firstly by painting pet urns for her, but our relationship quickly grew into a wonderful friendship. We enjoyed a ride in my sports car (Alpha Romeo), where Connie lifted both her arms in the air, yelling out Thelma and Louise!!!! Connie, I will miss you dearly, you left us to soon You will stay in my heart forever!!!

Connie was our flower girl at our wedding and also sang at our 25th wedding anniversary. Her beautiful voice and infectious smile will be with us forever. Rest in peace my angel and sing for those you have joined. Sympathy to all the family, we have lost a great one.
