CJ “Jim” WILLIAMS
1950 – 2019
C.J. “Jim” Williams of Red Deer, AB was taken away from us unexpectedly on December 20, 2019 at the age of 69 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 44 years, Roxine; daughter Dallas Brunette (Kent), Kelowna, BC; son Billyjack Williams, Olds; grandchildren – Malcolm and Melissa Brunette, Edmonton – Nikki Taylor, Red Deer; great-grandchildren – Maximus, Andrew, Genevieve McKee, Spruce Grove; mother Betty Enander, Lethbridge; sister Donna Dressel, Lethbridge – Tammy (Zak) Goddu – Dillan; Dianna (Andy) Ebburn, Calgary – Sarah and Matt; Trevor Firth, Lethbridge – Brandon & Grayson; brothers David Williams, Lethbridge – Kim (Serge) Lussier, McLennan – Emily and Isabel; Eddy and Lowell Williams & families, BC; sister Tania (Gary) Lennartz, Lethbridge – Charlie & Ava; step-mother, Judy Williams, Lethbrdge; mother-in-law Dorothy Suominen, Red Deer; brothers-in-law Keith ( Wanda) Suominen, Kamloops, BC; Randy (Charlene) Suominen, Camrose – Trevor and Chad – Kaylen and Andy Senger; Cameron (Annette) Suominen, Lacombe – Christine, David & Peter.
Also, to cherish Jim’s memory are our travel partners, Aunt Janet (Tony) Feininger; Uncle Ross (Louise) Wilson; and many cousins and friends, too numerous to mention and former wife Wendy Rigaux. Jim was predeceased by his father, Edwin Williams; father-in-law Mauno “Elmer” Suominen; grandparents – Fred & Daisy Wilson; Charles & MaryAnne Williams and brothers-in-law Frank “Ted” Firth and Norm Dreessel.
A service to honour Jim’s life will be held at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 40 Holmes Street, Red Deer AB on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 2:00 pm.
Due to health concerns, flowers are gracefully declined and regretfully will not be able to be present for the service.
