Anthony Francis Fobert

1950 – 2020

The family wishes to announce the passing of Anthony (Tony) Francis Fobert on September 27, 2020, after a short battle with cancer.

Tony is survived by his two children, Michelle and Matthew, and three grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn his mother, Donna; brothers Lawrence (Donna), John (Sharon) and Don; sister Marie Watts (Phillip); and best friend Nancy Gervais and her niece Donna Gervais. Tony will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Tony was predeceased by his father, Charles.

Tony enjoyed all sports, with hockey being a big part of his life. His greatest pleasure was making people smile and laugh.

Special thanks to the staff at Villa Marie for their care over the past four years and to Dr. Ford for his continual care over the years.

At Tony’s request, a family service was held in Castor, Alberta, where Tony was laid to rest with his father.
